Chris Brasco’s
experience includes all facets of the construction process from
contract formation through administration and the disputes process.
His legal credentials are complemented by hands-on experience
that includes the jobsite administration of a US Corps of Engineers
housing project in Germany, which was rescued from imminent default
and successfully managed through final completion and large claim
recovery. He has a family history in the construction industry,
which provides him with a unique perspective and the ability to
handle complex issues both at the jobsite and in the courtroom.

Mr. Brasco has represented clients before national and international
forums, including the International Chamber of Commerce International
Court of Arbitration, state courts, boards of contract appeals,
and in arbitrations and mediations. He is actively involved in several
trade associations and regularly lectures on issues of importance
to the construction industry. He holds a J.D. from the College of
William and Mary, and graduated magna cum laude with departmental
honors with a B.A. from Rutgers University. He has been admitted
to the Bar in Virginia, and his court admissions are as follows:
U.S. Court of Appeals, 4th Circuit; U.S. Court of Federal Claims;
U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia; Supreme Court
of Virginia.
Mr. Brasco is a
member of several professional organizations: Metropolitan Washington
Road and Transportation Builder’s Association; Virginia State
Bar Association, Construction Law and Litigation Sections; Virginia
Trial Lawyers Association; and the Washington Building Congress.
