Ormond Beach, FL (PRWEB) June 15, 2007 -- Today Garrison Associates and Jackstreet Media announced the launch of the New Construction Strategies Radio Network, at www.newconstructionstrategies.com, an online new media venture serving the needs of the three trillion dollar worldwide construction industry. The network features weekly interviews with thought leaders across every segment of the construction industry, including general contractors, subcontractors, union leaders, trade associations, architects, engineers, building and facility owners and vendors. The site aims to give a 360 degree perspective of the issues facing the industry and to create a channel for delivering the best insights, best practices and latest construction strategies to all stakeholders. Under development for over a year and a half the network launches with a rich library of on demand programming that can be streamed or podcasted. Past guests include, George Hedley, CEO of Hedley Construction and Development; Bruce D'Agostino, President of Construction Management Association of America, Mark Casso, President of Construction Industry Round Table; Edwin Hill, President of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; Mike Steele, former Executive Vice President of Development for Neogard; Clemson Professor Dr. Roger Liska; and Arizona State University Professor Dr. Dean Kashiwagi.

"The Construction industry is broken," said Ted Garrison co-founder of The New Construction Strategies Radio Network. "Despite experiencing one the largest construction booms in the industry's history, profits are among the lowest of all U.S. industries, building owners are dissatisfied with the services the industry is providing and the industry is struggling to attract qualified labor. The industry is in a palpable but quite crises," says Garrison.

Garrison believes that there is a desperate need for more communication and collaboration between all of the stakeholders across the industry and that new ideas and strategies for doing business need to be examined and broadly embraced. The network is committed to enabling communication in this highly fragmented industry and showcasing the best strategies and solutions to the industry's problems.

The joint venture to build the New Construction Radio Network was formed in September 2005. The business model and strategic plan for the network were developed by Jackstreet Media, a new media venture firm based in Los Angeles, California. "As a new media incubator this is the kind of venture that really excites us," said Errol Smith, Emmy winning broadcaster and founder of Jackstreet Media. "There is a definite underserved need here that new media is uniquely suited to fill. Ted Garrison has consistently demonstrated the vision, industry insight, commitment to leadership and business savvy that we look for in a media partner. We are delighted to collaborate with Garrison Associates in this venture and look forward to expanding the networks reach and program offerings.

A new segment is added every week and visitors to the site may subscribe to the program to get full access to the complete archive of interviews. The program will be syndicated on The Affiliate Nanocasting Network and related industry web sites.

"We are delighted to work with Jackstreet media on this venture. Jackstreet media brings an exciting new dimension to the construction industry. Delivering ideas and solutions through the use of the Internet and podcasts helps energize a younger audience that is the future of the construction industry," said Garrison.
